The San Antonio Spurs continue to amaze everyone from obtaining 1st place in the West and by defeating the Utah Jazz in Game 1.
Looked like a blast from the past from Tim Duncan (17 pts, 11 rebounds) and Tony Parker (28 pts, 8 ast). For the spurs to continue to dominate their playoff run they’re gonna need more from Manu Ginobili, their recently acquired Borris Diaw and Stephen Jackson, plus the other players among the team. Other than that, Greg Popovich has been doing a great job coaching these old timers.
For the Utah Jazz to have a fighting chance in this playoff run is simple, they need more than Gordon Hayward, Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson to score and rebound. Devin Harris needs to setup up and do what he used to do. Derrick Favors and Jamaal Tinsley is carrying the 2nd unit but other players need to start doing something.
After Game 1, the Spurs are looking pretty good right now.
